Aldan, Pennsylvania is a quiet community of homes. All of us deserve representatives in Aldan's local government who want our borough to be the best it can be. We deserve to see our shared values reflected in the decisions that borough government makes on our behalf. That's why I'm running for Mayor of Aldan. I'm committed to transparency and accountability at all levels of government, as well as ethical governance that insists on protecting our natural resources, the rights of our residents, and the education of our students.

Aldan may be small, but our borough is important--to the county, to the state, and certainly to those of us who live and work here. I want to ensure that Aldan residents have access to great resources, from an upgraded borough website with easy-to-find, up-to-date information about community happenings and borough policy, to tools that allow for more open access to borough governance, particularly for those who can't attend council meetings.

These improved resources don't have to come at the expense of a higher tax burden. I've been in public service for almost 20 years, finding the financial resources that local and national nonprofits need to serve their constituents and building partnerships that help nonprofits more efficient and effective. I look forward to bringing those skills to bear for Aldan. Together, Aldan can be a stronger, more united community through new collaborations and funding sources that don't drive up taxes.
